How the money works
From the Form 990 for the fiscal year ended June 2025 (Jul 2024 – Jun 2025) — read the filing ↗.
Where the money came from
Total revenue $154.2M
- Contributions & grants$127.0M82%
- Program service revenueFees, tuition and other payments for services$6.0M4%
- Interest & dividends$1.8M1%
- Gains or losses on investments sold$21.4M14%
- Other revenueNet income from fundraising events, rent, royalties and miscellaneous income−$2.0M−1%
Other revenue is net of a $2.0M loss on fundraising events: the events' direct costs exceeded what the Form 990 counts as event revenue. (Gifts made at events are counted under contributions.)
A loss reduces total revenue, so the other shares add up to more than 100%.
How it was spent, by purpose
Total expenses $140.2M
- Program services$118.5M85%
- Management & general$12.7M9%
- Fundraising$9.0M6%
- Grants to organizations & individuals
- $108.1M · 77% of expenses
- Salaries & officer compensation
- $14.1M · 10% of expenses
The three purposes above add up to total expenses. Grants and pay are a different way of slicing the same spending — they fall within those purposes — so they're listed separately, not added on.
Percentages are shares of the total reported on the Form 990, not of the lines shown. Figures are as filed, rounded for display.
