A local guide

Palm Beach County's two Federations: who serves where

By FedFinder5 min read

Palm Beach County has two Jewish Federations. What each says about the area it serves, which ZIP codes JFNA's directory assigns to each, and how to check yours.

Despite the names, Palm Beach County isn't served by a single Jewish Federation. Two have offices in the county: theJewish Federation of Palm Beach County, based in West Palm Beach, and theJewish Federation of South Palm Beach County, based in Boca Raton. Which one is "yours" depends on where you live β€” and an office address alone won't tell you.

FedFinder doesn't draw boundaries of its own. This page reports only what each Federation says about its area and the ZIP codes JFNA's public Federation Finder assigns to each. Both were checked on September 26, 2026. If you live near where the areas meet, confirm with the Federations.

What each Federation says

Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County

Its community page says the Federation"encompasses Boca Raton, Delray Beach and Highland Beach".

We couldn't find a statement of its service area in its own words on its website or in its latest IRS filing, so we don't paraphrase one. Its website is now jewishpb.org; the older jewishpalmbeach.org address redirects there.

What JFNA's directory assigns

JFNA's Federation Finder assigns 23 ZIP codes to South Palm Beach County and 61 to Palm Beach County. None of them is assigned to both. 6 of Palm Beach County's ZIP codes (34987, 34988, 34994, 34995, 34996, 34997) are also assigned to the Jewish Federation of the Treasure Coast, based in Stuart β€” if you're in one of them, FedFinder shows you both.

How to check your address

  1. Enter your five-digit ZIP code in FedFinder's search. It shows the Federation (or Federations) JFNA's directory lists for it.
  2. If your ZIP isn't listed, or you're close to where the areas meet, ask. Either Federation should be able to tell you which one serves your street.
  3. Service areas can change. When the Federation's answer and the directory disagree, go with the Federation.
